Verbier is a world class ski resort with some of the most challenging skiing in Europe. The Tortin Wall, Col de Gentianes, and Mont Fort will test the experienced skier/boarder, and for the really adventurous, why not hire a mountain guide and explore the extensive off piste areas. For the intermediate skier there is a wide network of varied pistes, some of which are below the tree line. Beginners are also well catered for by nursery slopes in the resort which are easily accessible by the free local bus system.
